Early Years Curriculum  


At Cornerstone Academy Trust we pride ourselves on the delivery of the standards for learning, development and care of young children as set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. We invest lots of time to support the development of active and inquisitive learners encouraging children to be imaginative, creative, curious and critical thinkers. We strive to nurture, engage and motivate the children in our Early Years and do so by offering a rich, varied and imaginative learning experiences.

We ensure that learning and development is planned around the needs and interests of the children and informed using on-going observational assessment. It is of the utmost importance that every child makes good progress, and no child is left behind.

It is important to Cornerstone that we create a high quality framework partnership by working with parents, professionals and other settings that the child attends to ensure all children thrive.
